- Is this product 100% human? No Fillers? Yes this is 100% human and has NO fillers
- What is the products make up? Although it is proprietary and there is a patent pending. We can say it is a mixture of Bone Fibers, Bone particulate cortical and cancellous in both a mineralized and demineralized state. The diameter is .75 and length is .75 and the weight is .75 grams.
- Is it just for extractions? No. The focus of this product was for 4 wall extractions and reducing or eliminating the need for a membrane. You can, however, use this in any case you would bone particulate and a membrane.
- Is this the only size you will make it in? No, we will call this Version 1. We already have plans for a larger version, and we have requests for many other designs.
- Will you ever sell this in a box of 5 or more? Given this is a human product and must be tracked via a TUR, we will validate and create packaging that allows us to do so. However, this is already in the works and we see no reason it cannot be done.
- Can you use this with PRP or PRF? It will absorb PRP and PRF for use.
- Does it have growth factors? The demineralization process brings forth BMP2, BMP4, BMP7, TGF-Beta1, IGF-1, Cytokines and more.
- Does it expand to the site? Yes we typically see a 30% expansion into the socket within 20 seconds.
- Will I need to hydrate it? No. typically the blood will hydrate the insert. You may hydrate it if you desire.
- What is the hydration time? on average 20 seconds.
- Do I need to suture it? Yes we recommend a simple X suture over the top.
- Will the patient have any issues with bone pieces after placement? There are no “loose Particulates” anymore due to fibers holding them in place.
- Does this product have any hemostatic properties? The demineralization process brings forth the collagen due to the acidic decalcification. Mainly type IV and type X.
